Many know ESI to be their local dealer for heavy equipment and attachments from trusted brands like JCB, Kubota, Gravely, Avant, and more. But what some people might not know is that we got our start by reconditioning heaters for Alaska’s North Slope, a whole quarter century ago. From there, we expanded into manufacturing our own heaters, generators, pumps, helicopter fuel tanks, and specialty equipment.

Commercial Heaters
In 2000, Equipment Source, Inc. got its start by reconditioning heaters for the North Slope, an industrial working environment known for some of the harshest winter conditions. That is when we discovered that Arctic challenges require solutions that are built Arctic tough. We starting designing and manufacturing our own heaters that are now the standard for keeping work environments safe and warm in the coldest climates. Our ES700 indirect fired air heater is the #1 selling industrial heater in the oilfields on Alaska’s North Slope!
Toughest Generators
We take pride in being Alaska’s largest manufacturer of generators. Our generators are designed and built in Alaska for extreme environments and remote locations, and all of our generators are tested for reliable cold-weather operations. We offer a wide range of power generation capacities and can configure your generator to your specifications, whether you need a temperature-regulated enclosure, skid mount, or trailer mount.
Pumps that last
We make Arctic Tough pumps driven by reliable, high-performance Kubota engines that are used in some of Alaska’s roughest industries. In addition to our Arctic Enclosure Pump and Tier 3 Diesel Engine Powered Pumps, ESI also manufactures the Triplex Pump, the #1Triplex pump on the North Slope Oil Fields of Alaska. These trailer-transported triplex pumps are used to pump freeze protection fluids to prepare wells for long-term storage. All systems and fixtures are heavy duty and able to withstand ambient temperatures as low as -50°F!

We design and manufacture custom equipment for our customers, as well as specialty products like helicopter fuel tanks, emergency shower trailers, mobile filter trailers, water houses, dumpsters, and hydraulic power units. All of these specialty equipment items are designed to withstand extreme cold and are built to last. One unique thing about ESI Alaska that really sets us apart is our maintenance service for the equipment we sell. If you have a piece of equipment that needs troubleshooting or maintaining, our Service Techs in both of our Fairbanks and Anchorage locations are happy to take a look. That means if you need something fixed, we got you covered (and quickly), so you can get back out there and finish the job.

Another aspect of our maintenance service is parts — if you need a part or two ASAP, our Parts department is known for our quick turnaround time, often getting the part you need in 1-2 days (even out to rural parts of Alaska)! We’ve got you covered with top-of-the-line generator ends, burners, controls, ignitors, ducting, and much, much more. It’s all part of our commitment to helping you get the job done, no matter what you need.

This includes top-rated earth movers, heaters, generators, pumps, and more! You can be rest assured that our equipment will be in great shape and easy to use (and you might even be sad to return it once the job is over).
